The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
Just finished this morning at 430am, good book, something of what I expected, C.C. Didn't let me down on this book, but I "HAVE" to read the third book to wanna know what the inquisitor was trying to tell Jace? What did Valentine do to Clare and Jace when they were young? How did Valentine escape the ship when Clare drew forth her "open" rune? So is Simon gonna fall in love w Maia? Why can't Jace let Clare go to the City of Glass and what would they do to her?

Is Clare's mom gonna tell her the whole truth about their family history w and w/o Valentine? What does Clare have to give up in the City of Glass to rescue who? Is Jace and Clare ever gonna be together? OMG, so man questions, so little book to read!!!!!!!!
