Everlasting by Alyson Noel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Ok, it took me SO long but Netflix is an addiction!
Anyways, it's a great book. I know I've been impatient with Ever in the other books, I am now ok with her. She doesn't throw tantrums, she doesn't think like an out of control teenager who needs a slap. She seems to have grown up. She's saving souls and rediscovering life to save another to have her future and not. Just hers but with Damen. When she went back to her first life at Adelina, the whole story is exactly when it is, a vacation from her real life to her past for me. A short story I didn't want to end so soon. Man, Drina is everywhere! Everyone in her current life was disguised as someone else who all played a part in her past lives. It seemed as through her lifetimes, every one was there. Her past, Shadowland and Summerland are all connect and makes sense.
I knew she'd make it to The Tree of life. I knew she'd come back but didn't know she was generous to pick enough fruit to ALL the immortals.
I was afraid Damen might refuse, but I'm glad it turned out great, that her and her aunt made up.
Great ending!
